Not only can you measure distance with the ELT Radar, but it also has four internal sensors: temperature sensor, humidity sensor, accelerometer, and an atmospheric pressure sensor. It is enclosed in an IP67 box which makes it ideal for mounting outside or in extreme conditions.
Distance and environment
ELT Radar is the ideal sensor for measuring in advanced places or in extreme weather conditions. It is easy to install and configure to form your solution. In contrast to ultrasonic technology, with pulse-coherent radar it is possible to measure through various materials, enabling non-intrusive installations such as on top of plastic chemical tanks or even measuring through plaster walls. The radar electronics are situated inside the ELT casing and are protected from the elements. Besides the distance you can also get information about the environment with its internal sensors, measuring temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure.
Near Field Communication
All Elsys sensors are equipped with NFC for easy configuration with an Android phone. You can change the sample rate, data rate, encryption keys, triggers, activation, and much more.

Battery lasts up to 5 years
Our sensors have a remarkably good battery life. For this sensor, it can last up to 5 years. How long the battery actually will last depends on the sample interval, transmit interval, data rate, and environmental factors.
